Sakura species in Japan:

In Japan there are over one hundred varieties of cherry trees,
most of them have been cultivated by humans for decorative use in parks but
many of them are wild varieties native of Japan's forest.
In fact, some have five petals but they can have ten or a lot more.
There are many characteristics like the number of petals or the color of them
for making differences between all those species.

Somei Yoshino:
this one has five petal

This is an Ichiyo with ten petals.

With one hundred petals this is a kikuzakura.

Most varieties are pink or white but they can be also yellow or green.
